The Wise County Historical Society is happy to announce the reprint of Between Brothers. This is 500 pages of history, stories and genealogy of Wise County Civil War Veterans.
The cost is $40.00, including tax, if picked up at our office located on lower level of Wise Library.
Orders may be mailed to Wise County Historical Society 124 Library Rd, Wise Va 24293. Please remit $40.00 +$5.00 S&H for each book.

Do you sell books? I went to the bookstore part and saw several books. I did not see away of ordering them. Do you have a list for people wanting a copy of the book Between Brothers? If you do I would like to get on it
The Between Brothers book is available as a re-print now – $40/ea including tax. If it needs to be mailed, add $5/ea for S&H. You can pick it up at the archives on the lower level of the Wise Library when the volunteers are working, or you can send the money with the address where you want it mailed. There will be other books available to purchase soon from the college bookstore and The Clapboard House, both in Wise. You can call the posted number to confirm when the volunteers are working before you come by if you want to visit.
I am looking to purchase a copy of the Book, The history of the Pound. I do see it on the book list but is there a way to purchase this and have it shipped. I live out of state and will not be visiting there anytime soon. Thank you!
I am looking to purchase one of the books that is listed on the Books for Sale list. Is there a way to purchase online and have it shipped. I do not see any pricing or instructions on how to order. Can someone please advise on what the process would be?
